This ethereal cloak appears to shimmer with a myriad of hues, casting fragmented reflections of your surroundings. When worn, the fabric seems to absorb ambient noises, wrapping the wearer in an aura of quietude. The cloak offers a unique blend of invisibility and insight, shrouding the wearer in whispers of unfathomable knowledge.
While wearing this cloak, you gain the following benefits:

Veil of Silence: You can use your action to become invisible until the start of your next turn or until you make an attack, cast a spell, or force someone to make a saving throw. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.

Eavesdropper's Appeal: You gain advantage on Wisdom (Perception) checks when trying to overhear conversations within 30 feet of you. Additionally, you can use your reaction to gain temporary insight. When a creature within 60 feet of you makes a roll, you may roll a d6 and add it to or subtract it from the result. You can use this feature a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus, regaining all expended uses after completing a long rest.

Secret Keeper's Shield: The wearer is resistant to psychic damage, and any creature that deals psychic damage to you must succeed on a Wisdom saving throw against your spell save DC or be unable to target you with psychic attacks until the end of your next turn.
Unbeknownst to the wearer, the cloak also carries a hint of danger—each day they don it, they must succeed on a DC 12 Wisdom saving throw or hear the echo of one of their own secrets whispered back to them as a haunting reminder, imposing disadvantage on their next skill check.
