This flowing cloak shimmers with an ethereal glow, shifting in hue from deep midnight blue to soft silver. As you wear it, faint whispers echo in your ears, carrying secrets of the world around you. The fabric seems to ripple like the surface of a pond disturbed by a gentle breeze, causing it to blend seamlessly with your surroundings.
While wearing the cloak, you gain the following benefits:

Whispered Secrets: As a bonus action, you can activate the cloak to cast Silent Image or Minor Illusion without expending a spell slot. When you do so, the effect lasts for one additional minute, maintaining the illusion even if you lose concentration. You can use this feature three times, regaining all expended uses after a long rest.

Echoing Steps: The cloak grants advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks made to hide. Additionally, if you successfully hide from a creature, you can choose to create an echo of the last words spoken within the last minute. This illusion allows you to distract enemies by causing them to hear these words from your previous location as a bonus action, granting you advantage on your next attack roll against them before the end of your next turn.

Veil of Silence: Once per long rest, as an action, you can envelop yourself and a 20-foot radius of space around you in a zone of silence for 5 minutes. Within this area, no sound can be made, spells that require verbal components cannot be cast, and creatures cannot communicate through sound. This silence can serve as a sanctuary or a means of escape, although creatures within cannot hear anything, including the natural world.
The cloak's enchantments are powered by the thoughts and whispers of those who have worn it before, and it is said that the wearer can sometimes catch glimpses of future events hidden within the echoes of time. However, lingering too long in its whispers may leave you unsettled, revealing unsettling truths about yourself and your companions that may not always be easy to bear.
