This ethereal cloak is woven from a fabric that shimmers like the night sky, twinkling with countless tiny stars. When worn, it grants a sense of tranquility and connectedness to the cosmos. At first touch, you can feel a gentle hum resonating from the fabric, almost as if it is alive with the whispers of celestial beings.
While attuned to the cloak, the wearer can cast message at will without expending a spell slot. The whispers contained within the fabric allow for secret conversations, even in the midst of chaos. Additionally, once per long rest, the wearer can use a bonus action to activate the cloak's true power: they become invisible for up to 1 minute or until they make an attack or cast a spell. This effect can be used to retreat or reposition during combat.
However, the cloak carries a bit of cosmic risk. Each time the wearer uses its invisibility, they must roll a d6. On a roll of 1, they accidentally attract a harmless celestial entity, which follows them around for the next hour. The entity is unable to attack or deal damage but will interrupt stealth attempts with its constant, soft tittering and glowing light, potentially revealing the wearer’s location.
The cloak serves not only as a mystical piece of attire but also as a reminder of the balance between ambition and caution in the vast tapestry of existence.
