This ornate chain is crafted from a translucent metal that shimmers with hues of blue and purple, seeming to flicker in and out of focus like a wisp of smoke. When worn around the waist or over the shoulder, the chain feels cool against the skin and hums softly with a melodic vibrancy.
While attuned to this item, you gain the following benefits:

Ethereal Passage: Once per day, you can use a bonus action to activate the chain, allowing you to shift into the Ethereal Plane for up to 1 minute. While in this state, you can pass through walls and obstacles as if they were difficult terrain. You gain the ability to move through creatures, but you cannot end your turn inside one.

Shimmering Guard: The chain provides a +1 bonus to your AC while you wear it, as it forms a slender barrier of ethereal energy that deflects incoming attacks.

Spectral Bonds: As an action, you can create a pair of spectral chains that bind an enemy within 30 feet. The target must succeed on a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15) or be restrained for up to 1 minute. The restrained creature can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.
Additionally, on a natural roll of 1 on an attack roll while using the chain, it flickers and you become partially intangible, causing you to miss but gain resistance to the next attack made against you until the start of your next turn, as the chain momentarily shifts you into the Ethereal Plane.
