In the dark corners of forgotten ruins, a presence lingers—ethereal and cold. This entity, a manifestation of sorrow and regret, exudes an unsettling silence that unnerves those who enter its domain. Cloaked in tattered remnants of shadow, it drifts through the air, its form constantly shifting and swirling as if caught in an eternal breeze. Those who hear its lamenting whispers feel the weight of their own past failings, seeing visions of despair and missed opportunities. When threatened, it retaliates with an unearthly sorrow that can drain the joy from even the bravest of souls.

Ethereal Sight. The entity can see 60 feet into the Ethereal Plane when it is on the Material Plane, and vice versa.
Lament of the Lost (Recharge 5–6). The entity emits an anguished wail. Each creature of its choice that can hear it within a 30-foot radius must make a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 27 (6d8) psychic damage and is incapacitated until the end of its next turn. On a successful save, the creature takes half damage and is not incapacitated.
Sorrowful Visions. Whenever a creature starts its turn within 30 feet of the entity, it must succeed on a DC 18 Wisdom saving throw or suffer disadvantage on attack rolls and saving throws until the end of its next turn.

Touch of Despair. Melee Spell Attack: +10 to hit, reach 5 ft., one target.
Hit: 22 (4d8 + 5) necrotic damage, and the target must succeed on a DC 18 Constitution saving throw or have its hit point maximum reduced by an amount equal to the necrotic damage taken. This reduction lasts until the target finishes a long rest.
Legendary Actions
