This small, translucent shard shimmers with iridescent colors and emanates a soft, echoing hum when held. The shard seems to vibrate with the secrets of the universe, occasionally whispering fragments of forgotten lore or hints from the past to its bearer. Once attuned, the wielder gains the ability to use the shard's powers in compelling ways.
When you hold the shard, you may use a bonus action to activate its ability. Choose one of the following effects to invoke:

Whispers of Knowledge: Once per long rest, you can pose a question of your choosing about a person, place, or object, and the shard will provide you a vague but relevant hint. This hint might be a single word, a short phrase, or an evocative image that could guide you toward useful information.

Echoing Voice: As an action, you can use the shard to replicate a spell of 3rd level or lower that targets a creature. This spell is not cast per se; instead, it carries an echo of the spell through the shard, allowing you to use it without expending a spell slot or component. Once you use this ability, you can't use it again until you finish a long rest.

Distant Whispers: This effect allows you to tap into the thoughts of creatures you can see within 30 feet of you. As an action, make a Charisma saving throw against the target's DC. On a success, you gain insight into their immediate thoughts or intentions. On a failure, the whispers become too loud, causing you to suffer disadvantage on your next roll.
Additionally, the shard grants you advantage on saving throws against being charmed or frightened due to its soothing hum, which fills your mind with comforting whispers when you are in peril.
If you ever find yourself in a location tied to significant historical events or powerful emotions, the shard vibrates and guides you toward secret doors, hidden caches, or clues that may help in your quest, reflecting its deep connection to the past.
