This beautifully crafted quilt appears to be woven from the very threads of dreams, displaying a tapestry of shifting colors and shapes that seem to shift and shimmer with the light. The fabric is soft and cozy, offering a comforting aura that invites rest. While attuned, the user gains the ability to manipulate dreams and the sleeping mind.
When the user spends at least one hour wrapped in the quilt during a short rest, they can choose one creature they can see within 30 feet. The chosen creature must make a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw. On a failed save, the creature falls into a deep, enchanted slumber for 1 minute, during which it is considered unconscious. This effect can be used once per long rest.
Furthermore, while you are wrapped in the quilt, you gain the following benefits:
- You have advantage on saving throws against being frightened and charmed.
- You can cast Sleep without expending a spell slot. Using this feature requires a short or long rest to recharge.
- If the user rolls a natural 20 on an attack or saving throw, they can enter a reverie, allowing them to regain one expended spell slot of 3rd level or lower.
Lastly, when you are in an area that is considered "home" (like a campsite or your dwelling), you can invoke the quilt’s powers. By spending an additional hour in the quilt, you can craft a shared dream for your allies. Any number of creatures you designate can participate in this dream, gaining the benefits of a long rest, even if they do not actually take a long rest. However, this feature can only be used once every seven days.
