Upon opening the locket, the surface reveals two small compartments—one for a cherished photograph or memento, and another housing a crystal that glimmers with an ethereal light.
While attuned to the locket, the wearer gains the following abilities:

Memory Recollection: As a bonus action, the wearer can focus on a specific memory of a creature they have encountered within the last 24 hours. By rolling a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15), they can relive that memory with perfect clarity, gaining advantage on Intelligence checks and skill checks related to that creature until the end of their next turn. If the check fails, the wearer is overwhelmed by the memory and becomes frightened until the end of their next turn.

Echo of the Past: Once per long rest, the wearer can activate the locket to summon a ghostly echo of a past ally or a creature they have known. This echo manifests as a spectral image, capable of providing strategic advice or insight. The wearer can ask up to three questions about past events involving that creature, gaining advantage on any related checks for the next hour. However, the whispering voices of the echo may unintentionally attract the attention of nearby creatures If used in a hostile scenario (DM’s discretion).

Heart’s Remembrance: While wearing the locket, if the wearer drops to 0 hit points, they are instantly stabilized and can regain 1d4 hit points. This ability can only be used once per long rest. When activated, the locket pulsates softly for a moment, echoing the wearer's heartbeat, before going dormant until the next dawn.
