Ethereal Cloak of Silenced Steps

This exquisite cloak is woven from threads that shimmer like moonlight, seemingly shifting colors in the light. When worn, it envelops you in a whispering shroud, muffling your every movement and allowing you to move with incredible stealth.
While you wear this cloak, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. In addition, when you walk at a normal pace, you leave no sound and your footsteps go unnoticed; creatures can only hear you if you speak or make intentional noise.
Once per long rest, you can activate a special ability that allows you to become ethereal for a brief moment. When you do so, you can move up to 30 feet through solid objects, including walls or barriers, without taking damage. However, while in this ethereal state, you cannot attack or cast spells, and you reappear at the end of your movement in the nearest open space.
The cloak also has an eerie quality; if an enemy successfully hits you while you're attuned to it, the cloak automatically grants you a +2 bonus to your next Dexterity saving throw, harnessing the energy of surprise to help you evade the attacker.
Legends say that the cloak was crafted by a long-forgotten order of shadowy rogues who sought to perfect the art of stealth. As such, it resonates with the whispers of their ancient secrets, subtly guiding its wearer in the art of silent movement.
