This beautifully crafted prism appears to be made of a translucent, swirling material that changes colors when viewed from different angles. When held, it feels warm to the touch, almost radiating a gentle energy. The prism has the power to bend and refract light into vibrant displays of color, which can have dramatic effects on both the environment and the creatures that inhabit it.
While holding this prism, you gain the following benefits:

Illuminating Aura: As an action, you can activate the prism to create a bright light in a 30-foot radius and dim light for an additional 30 feet. You can choose to change the light's color to any hue, providing a dazzling display. This effect lasts for up to 1 hour or until you dismiss it as a bonus action.

Spectral Veil: Once per day, you can use your action to create a veil of shimmering light around yourself or a willing creature within 30 feet. The target becomes invisible for 1 minute, or until they attack or cast a spell. If the target moves at least 10 feet during this time, the spectral veil leaves behind a trail of colorful motes, which can be harvested by those proficient in Arcana for crafting small magical items or charms.

Prismatic Shield: As a reaction when you or a creature you can see within 30 feet is hit by an attack, you can create a protective barrier of light that grants the target a +2 bonus to AC against that attack, potentially causing the attacker to miss. If the attack is successfully dodged, the prism discharges a flash of color that momentarily blinds the attacker until the end of their next turn.
This prism also has a unique property that allows it to absorb ambient light. When in darkness or dim light, it can store up to three charges of radiant energy. As a bonus action, you can expend a charge to unleash a concentrated beam of radiant energy in a 60-foot line. Each creature in that line must make a Dexterity saving throw, taking 4d6 radiant damage on a failed save, or half as much on a successful one. The prism regains all expended charges at dawn.
