While affected, the target is incapacitated and must roll a d6 at the start of each of its turns, becoming frightened on a roll of 4 or higher. A frightened target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on itself on a success.

Lament’s Resurgence: When reduced to 0 hit points, the creature fades into a shimmer of light. At the start of its next turn, it can reappear in an unoccupied space within 60 feet with half its maximum hit points, gaining temporary hit points equal to its proficiency bonus (3 temporary hit points). This ability can occur only once per encounter.
