Cloak of the Forgotten Shadows
Wondrous Item (Cloak), rare (requires attunement)
This dark, flowing cloak seems to absorb light, giving it an eerie, shifting appearance. Woven into its fabric are threads of silver that shimmer faintly in darkness, resembling a starry sky. When worn, the cloak grants you the ability to blend into the shadows, enhancing your stealth capabilities and allowing you to move unseen, even in well-lit areas.
While wearing the cloak, you gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks. As a bonus action, you can activate the cloak's shadowy powers, becoming invisible until the start of your next turn or until you attack or cast a spell. After using this ability, you cannot do so again until you finish a short or long rest.
Additionally, the cloak has three charges. When you are in dim light or darkness and are attacked, you can expend one charge to create a shadowy afterimage of yourself in your last position. The attacker must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15) or be distracted by the afterimage, giving you advantage on your next attack roll against them before the end of your next turn.
The cloak regains 1d3 expended charges daily at dawn. However, if all charges are consumed, you must succeed on a DC 12 Constitution saving throw or be blinded until you complete a long rest, as the shadowy energies overwhelm your senses.
