Cloak of Shifting Shadows
Wondrous Item (Cloak), rare (requires attunement)
Crafted from the ethereal fabric of the Shadow Realm, this cloak drapes around the wearer like a wisp of smoke, constantly shifting and billowing as if caught in a gentle breeze. When worn, it bestows upon the user the ability to meld into the shadows, bolstering their stealth and enhancing their connection to the unseen.
While wearing this cloak, the user gains the following benefits:

Shadow Veil: As a bonus action, the wearer can activate the cloak to gain advantage on Dexterity (Stealth) checks and become invisible until they make an attack or cast a spell. This effect lasts for up to 1 minute and can be used once per long rest.

Evasive Shroud: When the wearer is targeted by an attack, they may use their reaction to impose disadvantage on the attack roll. This ability can be used three times per long rest.

Whispers of the Void: Once per day, the cloak allows the wearer to cast the spell Misty Step without expending a spell slot. This ability recharges after a long rest.
In addition, the cloak has an insatiable connection to the shadows it embodies, and the wearer may occasionally hear distant whispers when they are in dim light or darkness. These whispers provide inklings of danger or guidance, granting the wearer advantage on one saving throw or ability check during such encounters, usable once per short rest.
However, as the user grows more attuned to the cloak's powers, its influence begins to seep into their psyche. After attuning to the cloak, the wearer risks becoming increasingly elusive, with a chance of attracting the attention of creatures from the Shadow Realm. The Dungeon Master may decide to introduce complications or encounters related to this attachment based on the character's actions in the material plane.
