Each creature that drinks gains 1d8 temporary hit points and advantage on saving throws against being frightened or charmed for 1 hour. This ability can be used once per long rest.

When you do so, you can choose your allies affected by the spell to also gain an additional 1d4 to their attacks and saves for the duration, representing the bond formed through shared sustenance.

Ethereal Bond: If you are ever incapacitated or reduced to 0 hit points while within 10 feet of an ally who is attuned to the chalice, you may choose to instead be reduced to 1 hit point and immediately drink from the chalice. This effect can only happen once per long rest.
