While you are attuned to this compass, you gain the following benefits:

Guiding Path: Once per long rest, you can use an action to attempt to discern your most favorable route. Roll a d20 and add your proficiency bonus. On a roll of 10 or higher, you gain a vision of your next significant decision or a moment of potential change, providing you with advantage on the next ability check, saving throw, or attack roll you make within the following hour.

Divine Intervention: If you’re faced with an immediate danger in combat, the compass can intervene for a fleeting moment. Once per long rest, when you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can choose to remain conscious with 1 hit point instead. The compass’s gem glows brightly, and you are enveloped in a radiant aura for 1 minute. While radiant, you have resistance to all damage and can use a bonus action to lash out with divine energy, dealing 2d6 radiant damage to a creature within 30 feet.

Seeker of Destinies: When you use the compass to navigate lost lands or uncover secrets, you may ask the DM one question about the true nature of your quest, journey, or the fate of a significant person. The DM will provide a hint or cryptic clue. This ability can be used three times, regaining all uses after a long rest.
When you attune to this item, you feel a deep connection not only with your destined path but also with the impulses of the universe. However, as you embrace your newfound insights, you may become aware of fateful disturbances.
At the end of each long rest, roll a d6. On a roll of 1, the compass’s celestial nature becomes a burden. A random beneficial event within the next 24 hours will be shadowed by an unexpected twist, leading to possible consequences that can either aid or hinder your party, as determined by the DM.
