Celestial Compass of Lost Destinies

This exquisite compass is crafted from shimmering silver and adorned with intricately engraved constellations. The needle, crafted from a mysterious crystal, glows faintly in the presence of potent magic. While holding this compass, the bearer can feel an otherworldly tug, guiding them to paths not yet taken.
Once per long rest, the user can activate the compass. As they spin the needle, they can designate one of the following effects:

Choice of Destiny: The compass allows the user to reroll an ability check, saving throw, or attack roll they just made. The second roll must be used, even if it is worse than the first.

Glimpse of the Future: The user may ask a single question about the immediate future to the DM, who must answer truthfully. This insight can help inform their next actions, though it is vague and may not offer a clear course of action.

Lost Traveler’s Path: For the next hour, the user can lead their party without needing to make Wisdom (Survival) checks to navigate, regardless of the terrain. In addition, any creature that wanders off track in this duration will find their way back to the party, as the compass subtly guides them back.
When used to summon these effects, the compass is infused with celestial energy. Each activation carries the risk of uncertainty; roll a d6 after use. On a roll of 1, the compass temporarily loses its powers and becomes a simple navigational tool for the next 24 hours, until it can recharge by being exposed to the light of a full moon.
While attuned to this compass, the user is also blessed with enhanced intuition. They gain advantage on Insight checks, as the compass not only directs them physically, but also guides them emotionally and psychologically.
Some adventurers whisper that the compass can lead the bearer to their true purpose, or even uncover lost memories from their past if one dares to venture deep into their own destiny.
