Aegis of the Celestial Dawn

This ornate shield is crafted from a shimmering, lightweight metal that reflects the colors of dawn at different angles. Intricate designs of celestial bodies and ethereal patterns swirl across its surface, giving it an otherworldly glow. The shield feels warm to the touch, imbued with the essence of the first light of day.
While attuned to this shield, you gain a +2 bonus to your AC. In addition, once per long rest, you can activate the shield’s protective aura as a bonus action. For the next minute, any creature that attacks you with a melee attack must make a Wisdom saving throw (DC 15) or take radiant damage equal to your level and be blinded until the end of its next turn. The aura's radiant energy can also be released as a reaction when you take damage, negating 2d8 of that damage and dealing the same amount as radiant damage to one creature within 10 feet of you.
Additionally, while you have the shield equipped, you can use your bonus action to invoke the spirit of protection. By spending a spell slot, you can create a barrier that grants temporary hit points equal to 2d6 + your level to yourself or an ally within 30 feet. This effect can be done a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
Hidden within the shield are small runes that resonate with the light of the dawn; if you remain within an area of bright light for one full round, you regain 1d4 hit points at the beginning of your next turn.
Finally, if the shield is damaged or destroyed, the celestial energies within it will redirect the ensuing explosion of energy, forcing all creatures within a 20-foot radius to make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 15) or take 4d10 radiant damage and be knocked prone. Those who succeed take half damage and are not knocked prone. The shield shatters into radiant fragments, which then vanish in a glowing display, leaving you unharmed.
