This cloak shimmers with a subtle iridescence, shifting in hue with the light. Crafted from the threads of shadow and the echoes of whispers, wearing this cloak enhances your stealth and allure in ways beyond mere appearance.
While wearing the cloak, you gain a +2 bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks, and you have advantage on saving throws against being detected while you’re in dim light or darkness. Once per long rest, you can activate the cloak to cast the spell Invisibility as a bonus action. This version of the spell lasts for up to 10 minutes or until you make an attack, cast a spell that affects an enemy, or are in bright light.
Additionally, the finest threads of the cloak are imbued with a unique ability. When you are targeted by an attack, you can use your reaction to momentarily merge with the shadows, imposing disadvantage on the attack roll. Once you use this feature, you can't use it again until you finish a short or long rest.
Finally, if you listen closely while wearing the cloak, you can hear the faint whispers of those who have donned it before you. As a bonus action, you can permit the cloak to share a piece of its ancient knowledge, which allows you to roll a d4 and add the number rolled to one ability check, attack roll, or saving throw. This property can be used three times, and you regain all expended uses when you finish a long rest.
