Veil of Shifting Shadows

This ethereal cloak seems to be woven from the very essence of shadows, shifting and flowing as if alive. When donned, it grants the wearer a deep connection to the shadows, enhancing their stealth abilities and granting unique powers.
While wearing this cloak, you gain a +2 bonus to Dexterity (Stealth) checks. Additionally, you are able to turn invisible in dim light or darkness as a bonus action. This invisibility lasts until you make an attack or cast a spell.
Once per long rest, you can invoke the cloak's magic to envelop yourself and up to three willing creatures within 10 feet in a shroud of darkness. This area is treated as Greater Invisibility for the duration, allowing you and your allies to move undetected. The shroud lasts for 1 minute or until you dismiss it as a bonus action.
However, the cloak's power is not without its drawbacks. Whenever you use the ability to shroud yourself and your allies, there is a 25% chance that the shroud will attract the attention of lurking creatures in the vicinity, manifesting in the form of one or two shadowy beings (see the Shadow stat block), which will attempt to attack the party until defeated.
The wearer must also be cautious, as prolonged use of the cloak can draw them closer to the shadow plane. After using its abilities twice in one day, the wearer must succeed on a DC 15 Wisdom saving throw or gain one level of exhaustion as they experience fleeting visions of shadows and darkness.
