This finely woven cloak shimmers with a soft, iridescent glow, shifting colors with the movements of its wearer. The fabric feels almost weightless, and as you wrap it around yourself, you can hear faint whispers that seem to come from the cloak itself, spurring you on to grand tales and secrets of the ethereal realm.
While wearing this cloak, you gain the ability to cast Invisibility once per long rest without expending a spell slot. In addition, any time you succeed on a saving throw against being charmed or frightened, you can use your reaction to teleport up to 15 feet to an unoccupied space you can see within range. This ability can be used a number of times equal to your proficiency bonus per long rest.
The cloak also grants the wearer resistance to psychic damage, as the protective whispers shield your mind from hostile intentions. However, you must be cautious; should you ever take damage from a source you can’t see, the cloak's whispers may grow maddeningly loud, imposing disadvantage on your next attack roll or saving throw.
When you attune to it, you feel a deep connection to the whispers of the cloak, allowing you to glean insights from the ethereal. Once per long rest, while wearing the cloak, you may ask a single question regarding a specific outcome or event, and the whispers will provide a vague, cryptic hint, guiding you in your decision-making.
This cloak is said to have been crafted in ancient times by a reclusive order of wizards who sought to commune with spirits. Its legacy has persisted, offering its wearer not just protection, but a tantalizing glimpse into the unseen truths of the world.
